SAN MARCOS, Texas – Two second half goals from and propelled the Texas State soccer team (5-6-1, 3-3-0 Sun Belt) to a 2-1 victory over Little Rock (6-4-3, 2-1-2 Sun Belt) Sunday afternoon at the Bobcat Soccer Complex. The victory snapped the Bobcats' three-match losing streak and assured them of their 19th winning season at home.
A scoreless first half saw both teams attempt seven shots apiece. The best chance at finding the back of the net came from Gonzales in the 27th minute. She was able to flick the ball off on a cross into the box but the goalkeeper stopped the ball at the right post.
