SAN MARCOS, Texas – Competing at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California, Texas State's Devina Schneider set a new women's program record in the 1500-meter run. Her mark was one of five top 10 marks in program history set this weekend in the Golden State or at the Texas Invitational.
"It was a great weekend! Exciting performances with room to improve," said Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Jody Stewart.
Schneider crossed the finish line with a school record time of 4:26.59. Her time broke the previous mark by nearly four seconds.
