EL PASO, Texas – Calvin Ross went into the clubhouse after the second round with a two-stroke lead on the individual leaderboard following a 2-under 69 at the Price's "Give 'Em 5" Invitational taking place at the Butterfield Golf Club. The Texas State men's golf team fired a 4-over par 288 in the round and are in second place at 4-under 564.
Ross, who broke the school's record for lowest score on Friday, carded three birdies and 14 pars during his round. His 11 birdies in the tournament are the second most by an individual.
