SAN MARCOS, Texas — While Texas State's volleyball program picked up its first three-set victory at home since March 25, 2021, on Friday, it was who stole the show.
Scott, the senior middle blocker out of Houston, Texas by way of Jersey Village High School, entered the Bobcats' conference match with ULM (5-13, 1-2) just two block assists shy of tying Amber Calhoun (2008-11) for the program's career block assist mark of 325.
Scott wasted no time achieving that feat as she was credited with two block assists — to go along with two kills — during the match's first set.
