SAN MARCOS, Texas – Senior Jaeda Reed scored a career-high 19 points Monday night in the Texas State women's basketball team's 69-57 setback to UTEP.
The Lawton, Oklahoma native converted 8-of-9 shots from the field and went 3-for-5 at the free throw line. She also grabbed seven rebounds, blocked a shot and recorded a steal.
With the loss, the Bobcats drop to 4-3 on the year while the Miners are now 6-1.
UTEP jumper out to an 8-0 lead before Jo'Nah Johnson knocked down the first of her two three-pointers in the contest.
