SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State had six athletes—Abigail Parra (mile & 800m), Kason O'Riley (high jump), Aiden Hayes (high jump), Koket Jimata (3000m), Henok Hagos (3000m), and Melanie Duron (shot put)—enter the Texas State record book on day two of the Charlie Thomas Invitational.
"We had athletes in so many areas step up this weekend," said Texas State head coach John Frazier. "But huge shout out to Kason O'Riley, who tops the national high jump rankings with a record-breaking facility performance, while Taejha Badal runs the leading 200m time in the Sun Belt, and Abigail Parra sets a school record in the mile.
