SAN MARCOS, Texas - Coming off its second consecutive Sun Belt Conference regular season title, Texas State will open the 2022 Hercules Tires Sun Belt Conference Men's Basketball Championship as the No. 1 seed in the 12-team field in Pensacola, Fla. The Bobcats will square off against No. 8 seed Louisiana in the quarterfinals on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. to start their trip in the tournament.
Texas State enters the championship tournament on a nine-game winning streak, its longest winning streak in 28 years.
