SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's basketball team (2-2) hit the hardwood for two games in a three-day stretch. The Bobcats will open the weekend by hosting the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles (2-3) before traveling south to take on the Texas A&M – Corpus Christi Islanders (2-1).
Texas State enters the weekend coming off a road victory over archrival UTSA on Nov. 20 by a score of 68-60. The win is the first for the Bobcats in San Antonio since Dec. 4, 2014. Prior to the win over the Roadrunners, Texas State played in one of the most prestigious early-season tournaments, the 2018 Preseason Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT).
