SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State University women's basketball team has received a bid into the 2017 Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI) and will host Eastern Washington in a first round game Thurs., March 16 inside the Strahan Coliseum.
"Playing in the postseason is always an honor for any program," said head coach Zenarae Antoine. "There are only a handful of teams that earn the opportunity to extend their season and I am happy that we are one of them. Postseason opportunities not only allow teams to make a run for a championship, but also help set the tone for the future.
