SAN MARCOS, Texas – Four Texas State pitchers shut down an Oklahoma offense that ranked in the top 10 in the nation coming into Wednesday game as the Bobcats came away with a 5-2 victory at Bobcat Ballpark.
With the win, TXST improved to 9-13 on the season while the Sooners are now 12-8 overall. It was the Bobcats second win over a Big XII Conference opponent this season and snapped OU's six-game winning streak.
Picking up the win on the mound was (2-1). He struck out four while giving up a run on five hits in five innings.
