LAFAYETTE, La. – The USA Women's National Team played a three-game training session against Scrap Yard Fast Pitch out of the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) softball league. The Red, White, and Blue won two of the three contests.
Texas State softball associate head coach Cat Osterman threw in a pair of games for Team USA. The first of her two appearances lasted 3.0 innings in a starting role. She needed 66 pitches, 33 for strikes, to get out of the first three innings. She allowed five hits, three walks, and three earned runs.
