DALLAS – Texas State closer Tristan Stivors was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-America First Team on Wednesday. It is the second first team All-America accolade for him this year as he was also named to the top team by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
Stivors is the second Bobcat to earn All-America accolades from the organization in program history (Kane Holbrooks, 2009) and the first to earn first team honors.
The senior right-hander leads the nation with 18 saves while also boasting a 7-1 record and staff-low 2.
