SAN MARCOS, Texas - Texas State head men's golf coach Shane Howell announced Wednesday that Terrin Anderson of Montgomery (Texas) High School has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Bobcats in the 2019-20 school year.
Anderson comes to Texas State ranked in the top 50 graduating seniors in Texas by the Junior Golf Scoreboard after finishing in a tie for sixth place at the 2019 Class 5A UIL State Tournament. Anderson helped lead Montgomery to a fourth-place finish as a team, just one shot back of third place.
He was the Region III-5A champion after firing a 3-under-par total of 139and finishing five strokes ahead of the field.
