WACO, Texas – The Texas State men's cross country team got off to a hot start at the Baylor Twilight meet Friday night that took place at the Heart of Texas Soccer Complex. Four runners finished in the top 10 paced by a runner-up finish by in the 6K race.
The junior crossed the finish line in 18:15.2, the fastest time for the distance in school history since 2011.
A contingent of three Bobcats came across the line beginning with for seventh place overall in 18:28.5. He was followed by less than a second later and then at 18:30.
