EL PASO, Texas – With one round left to play the Texas State men's golf team is in a three-way tie for sixth after shooting a 294 on Saturday in the second round of the Price's "Give 'Em Five" UTEP Invitational on Friday at the Butterfield Trail Golf Club. The Bobcats are joined at 11-over par 587 by San Jose State and Seton Hall.
Xander Basson paced Texas State with an even-par 72. He carded four birdies in his round, include three straight from holes 12-14.
Both Logan Lockwood and Anthony McGeorge shot a 1-over 73.
