KERRVILLE, Texas – After posting its lowest single-round score in 25 years, the Texas State men's golf team enters Tuesday's final round atop the team standings at the Big Texan Tournament through the first two rounds Monday afternoon.
Competing at the par 72, 7,059-yard Comanche Trail Course, the Bobcats began the tournament with their lowest 18-hole score since 1994 when they shot 17-under-par in the opening round. All five Bobcat players posted an under-par score. Texas State finished the day shooting 8-under-par in the second round and ended the day with a 36-hole total at 25-under-par (271-280-551).
