GADSDEN, Ala. – The Texas State men's golf team enters the final round in second place at the Graeme McDowell Intercollegiate after shooting 6-under-par through the first two rounds at RTJ Silver Lakes golf course.
The Bobcats began the day shooting a five-under-par 283 on the par 72, 7,467-yard course and came back to shoot one-under-par in the second round on Monday.
The host school, UAB, shot an overall score of 18-under-par to take the lead after the first two rounds. Texas State has a four-shot advantage over Lipscomb.
South Alabama is at 1-under-par, but the Jaguars, North Alabama, and Charleston Southern could not finish the second round due to darkness.
