SAN MARCOS, Texas – The first of two contests this week for the Texas State men's tournaments. The teams will play 36 holes with 18 taking place in the morning and another 18 in the afternoon.
Last season saw Texas State defeat the Miners by a score of 7 to 5.
Taking the course for the Bobcats will be Justin Newby, David Faraudo Godinez, Eloy Gonzalez, Scott Williams, Chase Ambrose and Anthony McGeorge. UTEP will be sending Frederik Dreier, Charlie Corner, Andreas Sorenson, Ben Getman, Nicklas Pihl and Chad Ahn.
