COLLEGE STATION, Texas – For the second year in-a-row the Texas State men's cross country team recorded a program best finish at the NCAA South Central Regional, taking fifth place in the 10,000-meters race. The women claimed 13th in the 6,000m race while running at the regional meet for the first time since 2011.
Out of the 167 male runners, four Bobcats placed in the top 35 with all recording top 10 times in school history. Leading the way for the team was Joseph Meade in 30:34.1, a little under four second shy of her personal best.
