BOSTON – Off to its best start in 38 years, the Texas State men's basketball team received three votes in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll that was released on Monday.
It is the first time that the Bobcats have received votes in the Mid-Major Poll. TXST is one of four Sun Belt Conference school either in the top 25 or receiving votes along with Georgia State (RV), Georgia Southern (No. 21) and Louisiana (No. 19).
Entering this week, TXST is 7-1 on the season and are 87th in the NET Rankings, the highest in the Sun Belt, through games of Dec.
