SAN MARCOS, Texas – This week sees the Texas State men's basketball team play its final two non-conference road games. First for the Bobcats is a trip to Prairie View A&M for a 7 p.m. tipoff on Wednesday in the William Nicks Building.
Texas State (4-2) is coming off a nine-point victory over Texas-Rio Grande Valley Sunday afternoon. The Bobcats closed the last seven minutes of the game on a 15-6 run with all of the points coming at the rim or the free throw line.
Although the Panthers are 0-9 on the season with all of the contests being on the road, they have played one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the nation.
