NEW ORLEANS – Senior Joseph Meade was named the Sun Belt Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Wednesday after his performance at the Bear Twilight Invite.
Meade finished as the runner-up at the Baylor hosted meet with a time of 18:22.7 on the 6K course. His time was the second fastest in program history at the distance, just seven seconds off the mark he set last season on the same course.
The Round Rock, Texas native's performance helped the Bobcats to a second-place finish at the meet. They finished ahead of other regionally ranked teams Incarnate Word, North Texas and UTA.
