LAFAYETTE, La. – Sophomore right-hander threw his second complete game of the season as the Texas State baseball team (30-13, 14-6 Sun Belt) defeated Louisiana 3-2 Saturday afternoon at Russo Park. McMahon struck out a season-high 11 and did not walk a batter as the Bobcats won their ninth straight game.
With the victory, McMahon improved to 5-4 on the season after he gave up two runs on seven hits, three of which came after the second inning. Jack Burk (1-2) suffered the loss after giving up three runs on seven hits in six innings.
