San Marcos, Texas – After leading Texas State to its first win over UTSA in program history on Saturday, quarterback Jordan McCloud was tabbed as the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 8, the conference announced on Monday.
In just his second game as a Bobcat, McCloud accounted for four touchdowns (2 passing and 2 rushing) in Texas State's 49-10 victory over the Roadrunners. McCloud gathered 309 passing yards and completed 18 of his 27 passing attempts.
His first passing touchdown was a 46-yard completion to Chris Dawn, Jr.
