SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State softball head coach Ricci Woodard announced Friday afternoon that Max Lopez is joining her coaching staff as the Director of Player Development.
"We're excited to have Max joining our staff," said head coach Ricci Woodard. "His experience at a program like Texas A&M and as a former student athlete will help him be an asset to our program and our student athletes."
Max joins the Bobcats after serving as a graduate assistant last season at Texas A&M with their softball program. During his time there he oversaw bullpens during games and caught bullpens during practice.
