SAN MARCOS, Texas – Junior recorded his fourth double-double of the season as Texas State (9-14, 3-8 Sun Belt) completed a weekend sweep with a 60-55 win over Southern Miss (12-11, 6-5 Sun Belt). The Houston native finished with 15 points and matched his career-high of 14 rebounds.
Coming off the bench, netted 14 points including going 4-for-4 at the free throw line. Both he and finished the afternoon with four steals apiece to tie and set a new career best, respectively. Gumbs contributed five rebounds and two assists as well.
Also reaching double-figures was with 12 points as he knocked down 6-of-12 attempts from the field.
