SAN MARCOS, Texas – Junior forward nearly recorded a double-double Saturday afternoon as he finished with a career-high 23 points and nine rebounds. However, Texas State (6-9, 0-3 Sun Belt) came out on the losing end of a 79-75 contest against Marshall (8-8, 3-0 Sun Belt) in Strahan Arena.
Love made a career best 11 shots on 13 attempts while also recording two blocks and one steal defensively. With his two rejections, the Houston native is up to 34 blocks on the season to tie for the 10th most in a campaign in program history with Tony Bishop's 2010-11 season.
