SAN ANTONIO – Sophomore Logan Lockwood heads walked off The Republic Golf Club on Monday as the 36-hole leader at 3-under par 139. He and the rest of the Texas State men's golf team sit in first place on the team leaderboard with a 13-stroke advantage after a 5-over par 573 (290-283).
Lockwood was the lone golfer to break par in the first round with a 1-under 70. He followed in the afternoon with a 2-under 69. The Van, Texas native holds a five-shot lead over teammate Calvin Ross, Incarnate Word's Chase Rios and Murray State's Alistair Snowdon.
