POINT CLEAR, Ala. – Fia Lindblom shot 3-under 69 in the first round to tie for first while Texas State was 1-under 287 as a team to finish three shots back of the leader after day one of the Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship at The Lakewood Club on Monday.
The Bobcats had three players in the top-12 of the individual leaderboard to help finish the first of three days of stroke play in second. ULM, the defending Sun Belt champions, leads the way with a 4-under 284.
Georgia Southern (E) and ODU (+2) rounded out the top-four after Monday's action.
