SAN MARCOS, Texas – Former Texas State women's basketball two-time all-league performer Toshua Leavitt has announced that she signed a contract with Eintracht Braunschweig, a team based out of Braunschweig, Germany, to continue her basketball career in the professional ranks. Eintracht Braunschweig finished eighth in the 12-team league in the top German professional league, Damen-Basketball-Bundesliga (DBBL), with a record of 6-17 during the 2018-19 campaign. The team earned a berth into the 2019 playoffs before being eliminated 2-0 in the opening round against top seeded Herner. "I am very excited for Toshua to fulfill a dream to play professional basketball," Texas State women's basketball head coach Zenarae Antoine said.
