SAN MARCOS, Texas – Senior guard Toshua Leavitt was named Madness National Mid-Major Women's Basketball Player of the Week by College Sports Madness on Monday afternoon.
Baylor's senior center Kalani Brown earned Madness National Player of the Week honors, while Utah State's forward junior Shannon Dufficy garnered Madness National High-Major Women's Basketball Player of the Week credit.
"Awarding Toshua with the Mid-Major Player of the Week honor is a testament to her hard work in her senior season," head coach Zenarae Antoine said. "Toshua would be the first to say that her award is a shared award with her teammates.
