NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference offices announced Tuesday morning that Texas State outside hitter KJ Johnson was named Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week. Texas State volleyball opened the season with two wins against Marist College and UT Martin, with Johnson at the forefront of those two matches.
"I'm so glad KJ is getting recognized for the performance she put on last weekend," said Head Coach Sean Huiet. "For an outside hitter to have over 4.5 kills and hit a .425 in three matches is big time. I love how she is playing and helping lead this team.
