SAN MARCOS, Texas – After a couple weeks off from competition, the Texas State cross country teams return to action on Saturday for the inaugural Arturo Barrios Invitational that takes place in College Station, Texas on the Dale Watts cross country course.
The men's 8K race begins at 9 a.m. while the women's 6K will follow at 9:45 a.m.
Pacing the field are two ranked programs in Oklahoma State, with the men ranked No. 24 and women ranked No. 29, along with Middle Tennessee State's men squad that is 28th. Also competing are five SEC programs in Florida, LSU, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt and six Big 12 teams in Baylor, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech and the Cowboys.
