JONESBORO, Ark. – A header goal off a corner kick from Kassi Hormuth was the lone score as Texas State walked out of the A-State Soccer Complex with a 1-0 victory over Arkansas State. The match was delayed nearly an hour and half because of lightning in the area during the second half.
With the win, the Bobcats are over .500 for the first time this season at 5-4-1 overall and improved to 3-1-0 in Sun Belt Conference play. The team is currently tied with South Alabama in the standings with nine points. The Red Wolves fell to 6-4-0 on the year and 2-2-0 in conference action.
