NEW ORLEANS – For the second straight week, Texas State soccer players Kassi Hormuth and Heather Martin both earned the Sun Belt Conference's Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively. It is the first time that a SBC team has swept the awards in back-to-back weeks since South Alabama did so last season during the first two weeks of September.
Hormuth extended her point streak to six consecutive matches with two goals and an assist while helping the Bobcats pick up road victories at Little Rock and ULM. Against the Warhawks, she netted her second straight match-winning goal that came late in the ninth minute off a corner kick.
