NEW ORLEANS — The Texas State women's basketball senior duo of Da'Nasia Hood and Kennedy Taylor were both selected to a Sun Belt All-Conference team following their play throughout the 2021-22 regular season, the league announced Monday morning.
Hood became the first student-athlete in program history to earn First Team All-Sun Belt honors in back-to-back seasons and also the first to earn first-team honors multiple times in a single career after picking up first-team status following the 2020-21 season. Taylor is the first Bobcat women's basketball student-athlete to earn Second Team All-Sun Belt honors since Toshua Leavitt following the 2017-18 campaign.
