NEW ORLEANS, La. — Texas State junior forward Da'Nasia Hood has been appointed to the All-Sun Belt First Team, the league office announced Thursday afternoon.
Hood is the first Texas State player since Toshua Leavitt (2018-19) to earn All-Sun Belt First-Team honors. She also becomes just the third player in program history to pick up the honor since the Bobcats joined the conference as Taeler Deer was the first during the 2017-18 season. Thursday's honor is the first postseason conference honor of Hood's career.
"I appreciate the conference recognizing that Da'Nasia Hood is an elite scorer," said Texas State women's basketball head coach Zenarae Antoine.
