SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State football's Micah Hilts was named a nominee for the 2022 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® after demonstrating exemplary community service, academic dedication and an impact on and off the field.
Allstate and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) featured Hilts among its list of 114 student-athlete nominees from the FBS, FCS, Division II, Division III and NAIA levels. Hilts is one of five nominees from the Sun Belt Conference.
A redshirt junior, Hilts has played in 21 of a possible 24 games in his Texas State career, but the tight end has been an active member of the community and strong representative of the Bobcat program.
