SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State's Micah Hilts, an active participant in community service for the Bobcats and a high-achieving student in the classroom, was named to the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List ahead of the 2022 season.
College football's premier award for community service, the Wuerffel Trophy honors college football players who serve others, celebrate their positive impact on society and inspire greatness service in the world.
Hilts, a redshirt junior tight end, has worked with Special Olympics Texas, Buda's Brightside, San Marcos Public Library, youth football camps around the San Marcos community, and several other organizations in his time away from being a student-athlete.
