LAFAYETTE, Louisiana – Texas State women's basketball suffered a 59-52 loss to Louisiana on Saturday afternoon as a lopsided fourth quarter was the difference between the two sides. Despite a close affair for the first three quarters of the game, Louisiana outscored the Bobcats 24-17 in the fourth and that was the difference maker.
Jaylin Foster showed her veteran presence throughout this game, though. Going for 14 points on the night, with nine of them coming in the fourth quarter as the Bobcats looked to come back late in the game. Despite shooting 7-14 in the fourth, the Bobcats allowed Louisiana to have seven points off turnovers in the fourth that split the game for Texas State.
