The rivalry between San Marcos and Lockhart has been rather lopsided in recent years.
In fact, it's hard to even call it a rivalry — at least where boys basketball is concerned.
Prior to Tuesday's tip-off, the Rattlers had beaten the Lions by at least 16 points in each of the past three games. The fourth time wasn't the charm for Lockhart, either, as San Marcos blew away the Lions en route to a 73-44 victory inside the Snake Pit.
