SAN MARCOS, TX —Winners of four of its last five games, the Texas State softball program will look to extend its current three-game winning streak to a season-best four straight when the Bobcats travel to San Antonio to play UTSA on Wednesday, March 30 at 6 p.m. CT.
Texas State, which is 17-13 on the season and 5-4 in Sun Belt action, is coming off a three-game sweep at Coastal Carolina, where the Bobcats outscored the Chanticleers 26-9 throughout the series. It was the first three-game sweep of a conference foe for Texas State since taking all three contests against UTA (8-0, 2-1, 4-2) to close out the 2021 regular season.
