SAN MARCOS, Texas – Five players for Texas State finished in double-figures as the team battled to a 66-62 win Thursday night in Strahan Arena over Arkansas State in front of 2,638 fans on Black Out night.
The win sees the Bobcats snapped a three-game losing streak while improving to 12-14 overall and 5-8 in the Sun Belt Conference. The Red Wolves are now 10-16 on the year and 2-11 in conference play.
Pacing TXST was Tyrel Morgan with 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting with two made three-pointers. He also recorded two steals and blocked a shot.
