HARRISONBURG, Va. – Sophomore went the distance in helping Texas State (14-9, 4-1 Sun Belt) defeat James Madison (13-10, 1-4 Sun Belt) 8-1 Saturday afternoon at Veterans Memorial Park to clinch the series.
Hall is the first Bobcat to throw a complete game since did so against Marshall on Apr. 14, 2023 and the first on the road since Wells went the distance at App State on Apr. 2, 2022. The right-hander (1-1) limited the Dukes to four hits while striking out a career-high seven.
Taking the loss on the rubber was Max Kuhle (1-2) after he gave up four runs on eight hits and three walks.
