SAN MARCOS, TEXAS – Head coach Tory Plunkett announced Preeti Gokhale as the new assistant coach for the Texas State women's tennis team Friday, Aug. 21.
Gokhale has been a volunteer with the program over the last two years (2018-2020) while she completed her Master's degree in Exercise Science from Texas State. Prior to joining the Bobcats, Gokhale competed at Middle Georgia State where she was a two-time All-Southern States Athletic Conference SSAC) selection and named Academic All-SSAC three times. Her junior and senior years she played on the top court in both singles and doubles.
