SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Green Bay Packers announced Saturday night that the team has agreed to terms to bring in former Texas State linebacker Frankie Griffin as an undrafted free agent.
A native of Spring, Texas, Griffin was a preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Third Team selection before playing in 11 games and starting nine contests in 2019. Griffin was third on the team with 67 total tackles and 6.0 tackles for loss. He recorded 36 solo stops, 1.5 sacks and two quarterback hurries. Griffin also forced two fumbles, recovered another fumble, and blocked a kick on special teams.
