SAN MARCOS, Texas – For the fourth time this outdoor season, Texas State's Alyssa Wilson was named the Sun Belt Outdoor Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 17, the conference office announced.
Wilson, who has won the conference weekly honor following each outdoor meet she has competed in this year, threw a near school record in the shot put and recorded top-three school marks in the discus and hammer throw at the Charles Austin Classic at the Texas State Track & Field Complex to earn the award.
