SAN MARCOS, TX — The Louisiana softball team brought its bats to Bobcat Softball Stadium Saturday afternoon as the Ragin' Cajuns scored 10 runs on 10 hits to knocked off Texas State, 10-1.
"We got beat today," said Texas State softball head coach . "We didn't do a lot of things well. We didn't capitalize when we had chances early in the game and that's when you have to against good teams. To me, (Louisiana) just out played us today and capitalized when they needed to."
Texas State (18-15, 5-6) actually got on the scoreboard first when and jumped on Louisiana starting pitcher Kandra Lamb with two doubles in the Bobcats' first three plate appearances on the day.
