SAN MARCOS, Texas – Gara Beth Self, the 2019-20 Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year, signed to transfer to Texas State starting with 2023-24 season, Texas State head coach Zenarae Antoine announced on Friday.
Self will join the Bobcats as a graduate student with one year of eligibility remaining after spending the last four seasons at ULM. The combo guard has played in 107 career games and scored more than 600 points.
"We are thrilled to add Gara Beth to our guard depth," said Antoine. "She is a great fit for our University and program on many levels.
