Texas State is coming off a 27-20 victory against New Mexico State and enters the contest with a 2-6 overall record and a 0-4 Sun Belt mark. Georgia State also has a 2-6 overall record after dropping a 37-34 decision against Coastal Carolina to fall to 1-3 in the Sun Belt.
